Sea Above, Sun Below

My debut novel, Sea Above, Sun Below, will be published by River Boat Books on October 26.

‘Upside-down lightning, a group of uncouth skydivers, resurrections, a mother’s body overtaken by a garden, aquatic telepathy, a peeling snake-priest, and more.

Sea Above, Sun Below is influenced by Western myths, some Greek, some with biblical overtones, resulting in a fusion of fantastic dreams, bizarre yet beautiful nightmares, and multiple narrative threads that form a tapestry which depicts the fragility of characters teetering on the brink of madness.’

River Boat Books published the amazing epic, The Mad Patagonian, which is why I submitted to them in the first place, and now I’m humbled to be on a roster of great authors whose books will also be coming out this year, including Gods Among Gazelles by Peter Damian Bellis and The Manifold Destiny of Eddie Vegas by Rick Harsch. They prove that the novel is far from a dead art form.

    1. Hi Garrett,

I’d be remiss if I didn’t let you know that my publisher, River Boat Books, is having a fundraiser to support the release/promotion of their 2019 list. The other books on the list sound amazing. I’m particularly excited for Rick Harsch’s The Manifold Destiny of Eddie Vegas (Over 700 pages of linguistic fireworks and stories within stories). If you are of mind, the link is below. Every little bit helps. If not, no worries.
